Acupuncture is based on ancient principles dating back thousands of years and looks at the whole person. when you visit me at my West Moors Clinic, I start by gathering a full case history, take your pulse and look at your tongue. This helps me to identify patterns in your body that have become weak, stagnated or blocked and therefore causing pain or disease.
I will then create an individual treatment plan designed to bring you back into balance and restore your wellbeing using a carefully selected choice from over 360 acupuncture points on the body.
Fine, sterile, single use needles are inserted into these points to move the Qi (energy) helping you to feel ‘you’ again - restoring your natural energy. You may also notice that other niggling symptoms will also resolve as your main complaint starts to improve.

Initial Consultation
A full case history is taken followed by a treatment - in total this will last approximately one and half hours. An individual treatment plan is then created to bring you back into balance and restore your wellbeing over your subsequent appointments.
Cost: £75

Follow up Acupuncture treatments
Fine, single use needles are inserted into carefully selected acupuncture points designed to meet the requirements of your individual treatment plan. Moxa or cupping therapy may be used to support your treatment.
Cost: £60
An Acupuncture session is approx 45 minutes however, the cost is for the treatment not the time.
